Francesco Mannocci MD, DDS, PhD, FHEA Professor Mannocci is a Specialist in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He obtained his MD (Pisa, Italy, 1986) and DDS (Pisa, 1990) in Italy, and his PhD in Clinical Dentistry from King's College London in 2001. After having worked in private practice in Pisa for 18 years while collaborating with the University of Siena as a Visiting Professor he became Lecturer in Endodontology at King's College London in 2004, Senior lecturer/Honorary Consultant in 2006, Head of Endodontology in 2008, and Professor of Endodontology at King’s College London in 2010. Prof Mannocci has authored more than 100 papers in international peer reviewed journals. He is Associate Editor of the International Endodontic Journal and has worked extensively on subjects including restoration of endodontically treated teeth, instrumentation techniques, dental anatomy, histology, endodontic radiology and endodontic microbiology. Prof Mannocci maintains a private practice limited to Endodontics in Central London.

Prof. Zvi Metzger graduated from the Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem in 1970. Since 1973 he has been on the faculty at the Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine, where he served as Dean in the years 1987-1991. Prof. Metzger is specialist in Endodontics and was the Chairman of the National Board of Endodontics in Israel. He is an Associate Professor of Oral Biology and Professor of Endodontology at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Metzger was a visiting fellow at the National Institute of Dental Research, NIH, Maryland (1978-1981) and a visiting professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1995-1996). He had served as Chairman of the Department of Endodontology and Director of Research Laboratories at the Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine. He retains a private endodontic specialist practice in Tel Aviv and is involved in development of innovative endodontic devices. Prof. Metzger has published and lectured extensively in the fields of Oral Biology and Endodontics. He currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Panel of Journal of Endodontics and as a referee for International Endodontic Journal. He was the President of the Israeli Division of the International Association for Dental Research (1987), Chairman of the Israeli Endodontic Society (2000-2002) and is a recipient of the Honorary Achievement Award of the Israel Dental Association (2003) for his contributions in dental research and education
Anil Kishen is a Full Professor in Endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, Canada. He is also cross-appointed with the Department of Dentistry, Mount Sinai Health System, Mount Sinai Hospital and the Institute of Optical Sciences, University of Toronto. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed journal publications and is a co-inventor in 10 patents and invention disclosures. He is a recipient of several awards and honors including, The Enterprise Challenge Innovator Award in Singapore, Honorary Diplomate of the Indian Board of Endodontics, the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Foundation-Denstply-Research Excellence Award, the Journal of Endodontics Publication Awards 2015, 2016 and W. W. Wood Award (2016) for excellence in dental education in Canada. He has published 20 book chapters and has co-edited three interdisciplinary books. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Endodontics, BMC Microbiology and Clinical Oral Investigations. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for several international journals. He has also presented over 135 invited / plenary lectures worldwide. At the University of Toronto, Dr. Kishen is involved with the undergraduate and graduate-level teaching in Endodontics and is a Principal Investigator of a research group that focuses on nanomaterial and phototherapeutic for wound healing and tissue engineering. His research is funded by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Ontario Center for Excellence and the American Association of Endodontists Foundation. Dr. Kishen is a strong advocate for high-quality translational research benefiting patient care.

International lecturer and researcher, He is author of more than 480 scientific articles, He has lectured all over the world (more than 500 presentations) as a main speaker in the most important international congresses and many Universities worldwide. During his academic career he gained many awards and recognition, and was responsible of many scientific projects with national and international grants. He has focused his interests on endodontic materials and clinical endodontics. He is also actively cooperating as a consultant to develop new technologies, operative procedures and materials for root canal treatment. He has many patents concerning endodontic technologies. He is currently the Chairman of Clinical Practice Committee of ESE and memeber of the Executive Board. Honorary member of AIOM ( Italin accademy of operative microscopy) He still maintains a private practice limited to Endodontics in Rome, Italy.
Dag Ørstavik is professor emeritus at the University of Oslo (UiO), where he was Head of the Department of Endodontics from 2004 to 2016. He graduated as a dentist from UiO in 1969, where he also took his PhD in Oral Microbiology in 1977 and completed the specialization program in endodontics in 1984. Dr. Ørstavik worked as scientist/senior scientist at the Nordic Institute of Dental Materials (NIOM) from 1978 to 2004, interrupted by 2 years as visiting professor at the Department of Endodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 1993-1995. He has maintained a part-time private practice with endodontics throughout his career. His research has focused on mechanisms of dental plaque formation; physical, chemical, biological and antimicrobial properties of endodontic filling materials; and clinical studies on factors influencing treatment outcome in endodontics.
Dr. Ruddle is the founder and director of Advanced Endodontics, an international educational source, in Santa Barbara, California. He received his dental degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco, California, and completed his postgraduate work in endodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Ruddle is a Fellow in both the American and International Colleges of Dentistry. He is an assistant professor of Graduate Endodontics at Loma Linda University and University of California, Los Angeles, an associate clinical professor at University of California, San Francisco, and an adjunct assistant professor of Endodontics at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Ruddle is the author of two chapters in the 8th Edition of Pathways of the Pulp: “Cleaning & Shaping the Root Canal System” and “Nonsurgical Endodontic Retreatment.” He is internationally known for providing superb endodontic education through his lectures, clinical articles, training manuals, videos and DVDs. Additionally, he maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara, California.

Dr. Mohammad Hammo Graduated from Jordan University in 1992 (BDS), and continued his higher education in Endodontics in saint-Joseph University in Lebanon 2001( DESE). Dr. Hammo has been lecturing locally and globally (more than 150 international conferences in more than 25 countries. He has publications in different scientific journals. He owns the Hammo Endodontic Clinics in Amman; additionally he is a consultant endodontist in Qatar and Bahrain. He is the former president of Scientific Committee of Jordan Dental Association, and also he is serving as the director of Endodontic Program in British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRDS), and Expert in Dental XP group. Dr. Hammo has been one of the most active endodontists on Facebook. He has thousands of followers across the globe. He has been the virtual mentor for many clinicians by virtue of his case sharing on the social media
Dr. Siqueira is currently the Chairman of Endodontics and Director of the Postgraduate Program in Endodontics, PhD and Master degrees, Estácio de Sá University, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil. Dr. Siqueira has authored the books “Treatment of Endodontic Infections” and "Endodontology: an integrated biological and clinical view", the latter sharing authorship with Domenico Ricucci, both in English, and other 7 books about Endodontics or Microbiology in Portuguese. He also authored or co-authored several chapters for leading international endodontic textbooks. He published more than 360 scientific papers in international journals. His H-index, which measures both the productivity and impact of the published work of a scientist, is 52. Dr. Siqueira has received several international awards including the Louis I. Grossman Awards from the American Association of Endodontists in 2014 and French Endodontic Society in 2012, for cumulative publication of significant research studies that have made an extraordinary contribution to endodontics. Dr. Siqueira is currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics and the Editorial Board of the Journal of Oral Microbiology and ENDO-Endodontic Practice Today. He also serves as a reviewer for several other international journals.
